Integra's MailGuard service helps to protect your computer from unsolicited and potentially hazardous email.
MailGuard functions by scanning email destined for your account. Analysis includes the following criteria:
MailGuard separates junk mail and viruses from legitimate messages. Legitimate e-mail messages pass through to your inbox while junk email is quarantined in a web-based, password-protected Message Center. You have access to quarantined email in the Message Center and the ability to create Blocklists (domains always blocked) and Safelists (domains never blocked).
The Integra Telecom MailGuard Message Center is located at http://mailguard.integra.net.
Enter your full email account name and password.
Once logged in, you'll see the Message Center. Email identified as spam is listed. You have the option to release it (and add it to the Safelist) or delete it with the "Select Action" button on the drop-down list.
Many of the functions of the Message Center can also be performed directly from within the weekly activity summary sent to your account.
Integra's anti-spam and virus system is very simple to use and does not require any configuration on your part.
